There’s a difference between worry and panic. To worry is to give way to anxiety or unease; to allow one’s mind to dwell on difficulty or troubles. To panic is to feel or cause a sudden uncontrollable fear or anxiety, often causing wildly unthinking behavior. There’s nothing wrong with being worried. There’s nothing wrong with being prepared, or even overprepared. As long as we do not panic.
